Include a support report
To help us find the problem quickly, paste the support report that the game makes for you into your email.
- On the game's home screen, tap the gear button at the top left to open Settings.
- Near the bottom of Settings, tap the Version … line. Under it, it says "Tap to copy a support report".
- When it changes to Support report copied, the report is on your clipboard. Paste it into your email.
- Tell us what happened: when, on which stage or screen, and what you were doing.
The support report holds the app version, your Player ID, the phone's model, OS (Android or iOS) version, memory and screen size, and recent records of how the app ended. It holds no name or contact details. The game never sends it by itself: it reaches us only if you paste it and send it, and we use it only to answer you.
If only your Player ID is needed, tap the Player ID line in Settings and it is copied.

Do I need to sign up or log in?
No. When you first start the game, a game account (an anonymous account) is made automatically. The game never asks for your name, email address or phone number. The Player ID in Settings is the ID of that game account.
On Android, if you have a Google Play Games profile, your game account is linked to it automatically. There is nothing to tap, and everything in the game works the same without it. If Settings says Not linked to Google Play Games, you can link later with the Link button under it.
On iPhone there is no Google Play Games link: you simply play on your game account (an anonymous account).
Where is my progress saved?
Your progress is saved automatically: on your phone, and in the cloud save of your game account whenever you are online. You can play without internet; what you play offline goes up the next time you are connected.
When you are linked to Google Play Games, Settings says Progress saved to your Google Play Games account under your Player ID.
Will my progress come back if I reinstall the game or change phones?
On Android, in one of two ways.
- Google Play Games (Android): if your game account was linked to Play Games, a new phone or a reinstalled game signed in to the same Play Games profile picks up that progress, and the gems you bought come along. A fresh install may need to be restarted once or twice before it switches.
- Android's automatic backup (backup to your Google Account): if it is on, Android puts the game's data back when you reinstall, the game account included, so you are the same player and the game picks up your latest cloud save. The same goes for a new phone that restores your apps from the same Google Account's backup.
If neither was the case, the game starts fresh with a new game account.
On iPhone there is no account link like Google Play Games yet. The sign-in of your game account is kept inside the iPhone (in its keychain), so a reinstall on the same iPhone can bring back your game account and your latest cloud save. On a different iPhone it does not carry over, and the game may start with a new game account.
How do lives work?
Lives start at stage 10. You lose a life only when you fail or give up a stage; winning never costs a life. Closing the app completely in the middle of a stage counts as a fail. A fail also ends your win streak.
You can hold up to 5 lives, and one comes back every 25 minutes. With no lives you cannot start a stage: wait, or fill your lives back up with gems.
A Continue Pack or one of the bigger gem packs gives you unlimited lives for a while: until it runs out, a fail costs no life. Bonus stages and the Cheer Tower never cost a life.
How do I get gems?
You start with 120 gems. After that, the first clear of a hard stage gives 10 gems and the first clear of a boss stage gives 50. Replays give none. Daily missions, the weekly box and the Cheer Tower's milestones give gems too.
Gems buy extra moves when you run out, and fill your lives back up. You can also buy gem packs in the shop (through Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone); buying is optional.
How do I start over?
Tap Start over at the very bottom of Settings, then Start over again in the question that follows. Your stages, gear and gold will all be gone, and this cannot be undone. Your gems stay (if you have fewer than the 120 a new player gets, you get 120). Your music, sound and vibration settings stay too.
Your cloud save is overwritten with the new progress, but your Player ID (the game account) and your Google Play Games link stay the same and nothing is deleted. To delete everything, use Delete account in Settings (see Data deletion).
Uninstalling and reinstalling may not take you back to the start, because Android's automatic backup, your Google Play Games link, or the game account kept on your iPhone brings your progress back.
Is it free?
Yes, the game is free to play. If you want, you can buy gem packs in the shop, and a Continue Pack when you run out of moves (through Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone). On Android you can also get rewards from rewarded ads, which you see only when you choose to by tapping an ad button. The iPhone game has no ads for now.
Gear and the keys that open gear chests are won only by playing and are never sold, so there are no random boxes to pay for.
What I bought did not arrive, or I want a refund.
Gem packs and Continue Packs arrive as soon as the store (Google Play on Android, the App Store on iPhone) reports the payment complete and our server has confirmed the purchase with that store. If a payment is still pending (such as an Ask to Buy request waiting on iPhone), or the purchase could not be checked because you were offline, they arrive once it is complete and confirmed (the next time you open the game). The extra moves of a Continue Pack are for the stage you bought it in, so a payment that goes through late brings only its gems and unlimited lives.
If something you bought did not arrive or went wrong, email help@argozone.com with these two things:
- your Player ID (tap it in Settings to copy it)
- on Android, the Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.; you will find it in the receipt email from Google Play and in your Google Play order history)
- on iPhone, the order ID in the receipt email from Apple (you can also see the purchase at reportaproblem.apple.com or in your App Store purchase history)
Refunds of what you bought on Android go through Google Play. Within 48 hours of buying, you can ask Google Play yourself as described in Request a refund on Google Play, and the Google Play refund policies decide the outcome. After 48 hours, email us with the two things above.
Refunds of what you bought on iPhone (the App Store) are decided by Apple. Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, as described in Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple. We cannot give the refund ourselves.
How do I turn off music, sound or vibration?
In Settings (the gear button on the home screen), or in the pause menu during a stage, turn Music, Sound and Vibration on or off separately. These settings are kept on your phone and stay when you start over.
On iPhone, music and sound are silent while the phone is in Silent mode (the Ring/Silent switch or the Action button). Turn Silent mode off to hear them.
The game froze or closed.
After an error, an error report is sent automatically (usually at the next launch) and helps us fix it. If you open the game again and copy the support report as above, it also tells how the app ended last time. Send it to us with what happened, and we can find the cause sooner.
How do I delete my data?
In the game's Settings, tap Delete account, then press and hold Hold to delete in the confirmation for about 2 seconds, and your account is deleted at once (from version 0.22.0 of the game; needs an internet connection). If you have already uninstalled the game, email us your Player ID as described on the Data deletion page. What we keep and for how long is in the privacy policy.
